MOMENTS OF CULTURE. What distinguishes your everyday from a „moment of culture“. Culture in the widest sense has not only to do with the Arts, but its phenomena define the very essence of a community/society. Even when dealing with the Arts you have to name your preferences between „high and low culture“ between E and U between top-down and bottom-up. Whichever you are interested in remember that „a moment of culture“ has to carry a seed or an echo of a collective idea, otherwise it is just a personal pursuit. Try to recall a moment in your life that struck you as a „cultural“ and document it in its most important aspects including space and time.
